She’s been using him as a prop in her photos for twelve years. There’s something intriguing about the idea of even doing a project for twelve years straight. And what’s even more intriguing is that she is exploring the changes in her and her boyfriend’s relationship, and it co0mes through in her photographs. Her photographs are intriguing because there’s a lot of loaded imagery and visual allegories happening in them. A lot of her work has her and her boyfriend posing in them and exploring this kind of power dynamic, but they connect to the viewer in a very real way.
